The cable is undirectional, please connect the cable based on the connector words “Display” HDMI to TV, “source” to Phone/PC or USB-C port devices. Reversing the connection will not damage the device but will result in no image display,always connect according to the labels.
Can my computer/phone be used?
If your USB-C port supports DP Alt mode, the type-C port used solely for charging can’t display video output.
